This mouth-watering Apple Strudel Recipe is I made with store-bought puff pastry dough, with easy four-ingredient fresh apples, golden raisins, sugar and few spices.  It is so amazingly easy to make and just perfect with that hot cup of coffee early in the morning.  It is best to eat the apple strudel served warm. It is often found with vanilla sauce and whipped cream. But the classic version is only sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Frozen puff pastry-1 Sheet

Butter-2 tbsp

Granulated sugar-2 tbsp

Brown sugar-1 tbsp

Cinnamon-    ½ teaspoon

nutmeg -¼ tsp

Raisins-      cup

Preheat Oven 180degrees.

1.In a large bowl, squeeze the juice of one lemon (making sure to remove any seeds).

6. Using the butter and milk mixture as a pastry glue,( egg wash ) brush the exposed edge of the pastry before folding the other side of the pastry, slightly overlapping the first half.

7.Roll the pastry over so the folded part is on the bottom and place on a baking sheet. Score the top of the strudel with a sharp knife Diced apples and raisins coated in cinnamon sugar in a clear bowl.

8.Brush the tops with melted butter, then bake for about 25 to 30 minutes  in 180 degree until golden brown on top!

9.Let your apple strudel cool for at least 15 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar and slicing into  pieces. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and hot coffee.
