Soan Papdi Biscuit ( Exotic biscuit)

But sometimes you wish to crave a slightly fancier cookie recipe and an exciting combination of flavors. Undeniably, it is one of the most popular sweet delights prepared during this festival season, but how about making it at home and impressing your loved ones with its amazing taste. You just can’t say no to this delicious dessert recipe, Soan Papdi is simple yet delicious recipe, which can be prepared at home without putting in much efforts. So instead of making, Soan Papdi I made this exotic Biscuit.
This crunchy textured sonpapdi biscuits made with gram flour, milkpowder cardamom, pistachio and 0% artificial essence and No baking power, no baking soda. It tastes exactly as the rich Sonpapdi. Combining the soan papdi with a gram flour sugar cookie infused with milk, pistachios and cardamom created a cookie that complemented the flavors of the Soan Papdi Biscuits. . To accentuate the taste of this dish, you can powdered green cardamom to make it more delicious and top it up with some roasted pistachios and crushed rose petals to make it look more eye-grabbing. It’s the perfect fusion of Western and Indian flavors.

Measurements I changed and Instead of Margraine I used unsalted Butter only.
Ingredients:
All Purpose Flour- 200 gm
Butter- 250 gm
Sugar-200 gm
Custard Powder- 30 gm
Milk Powder- 40 gm
Gram Flour -150 gm
Pistachio- 50 gm
Green Cardamom-2 tsp
Mlik for wash
Method:
1. In a separate bowl, beat the butter until it is pale and fluffy.
2.Add the sugar and beat until the butter and sugar are creamed.
3.Now add the Custard powder mix well then add Milk powder, Gram flour & Maida& mix it gently with your fingertips.
4. Add the pistachios and cardamom in and give the cookie dough a good mix until everything is combined and knead the dough very softly.
5.Take all the
mixture and from it into a log. Take a plastic sheet. Place some biscuit dough.
Cover the dough with a plastic sheet and roll it out.
6.Now take amilk and wash the dough with brush and sprinkle pistachious andalmond powder in it. Then gently roll them evenly.
7.After rolling cut those into rectangular pieces or as you want. It should not be too thin or too thick biscuits
8.Place the sliced biscuits on a tray lined with parchment paper and bake them in the oven for around 15minutes @180C until it gets a light golden colour on the top.
9. Once done, the sides will become slightly hard but the center will still be little soft. Once it cools down, it will become firm.
10.Top each cookie with more chopped pistachios, slivered almonds, and enjoy!
